In addition to the unique climatic conditions of rain, sunshine, cloud cover, mist and dew, that all Darjeeling tea estates enjoy, the extraordinary setting that surrounds the garden, has contributed largely to Jungpana teas’ revered reputation. This is a lovely summer tea with a layered flavor profile. The dry leaves have a dark chocolate like aroma and hints of roasted almonds. When brewed for 3.5 minutes we get a deep amber liquor with a strong musky aroma. We get notes of cocoa, almond and white flowers at the top and a sweet lingering finish reminiscent of fresh fruits and muscat. This is a very high quality tea and it’s distinctive flavor will surely add a new layer to your collection.Steeping2 teaspoonful per cup (2-3g tea per 8 ounces/ 240 ml) of water at 90°C(195°F) for 3 1/2-4 minutes. For the second infusion we recommend same temperature for 4 minutes.***If you don’t have a thermometer handy to measure your water temperature, don’t worry! Here is an eye guide–180°F / 82° C = bubbles form on the bottom of the pot 195°F / 90° C = the first bubbles begin to rise 212°F / 100° C = full rolling boilPacking We send our teas in a resealable kraft paper zip-lock stand-up pack with food-grade aluminum foil lining. We recommend storing your tea in this supplied bag away from direct sunlight or moisture. We do not recommend keeping the teas in fridge. —-We source our teas directly from Darjeeling, that is why we can offer such good prices for these high quality teas—-**Customs information**Herbadiet will not be liable for packages refused or held by customs for delivery.
